Thank you very much Cmac! 2020 will be an excellent trading year imo.

Markets are currently pretty stretched and struggling to move above last quarters high.

This is not an area we should be looking to buy. Even using nothing more than simple moving averages we can identify short term oversold conditions vs a higher time frame bullish trend.

NEE Is a good SPX stock to watch as it is extremely stretched on the quarterly and is starting to become volatile

For the near future we should continue selling SPY March $330 calls on up moves imo.

SM, what is your  view of the cybersecurity space and companies like FTNT, SPLK etc?
I am not a tech guy, so really weak on understanding their fundamental differences and growth capabilities.
That said, charts rule anyway, so I am looking to swing trade one or two.  Thoughts and ideas would be welcome.
Those are not the only two in the space, just examples. So I am open to looking at any and all with strong charts/setups.
TIA.

Are you aware which one's are most likely to have key disruptive technology?

Currently everything (hardware/software) is vulnerable and has been willingly or forcibly backdoored by the deep state big global government backers.
Even encrypted traffic can be read in real time since 2000-2001. A plan to correct this is underway but is and will remain in it's infancy until things are brought to light and corrected. GOOG, FB, T, CSCO etc.... are everywhere and see/hear all.

Don't get caught up with the Iran fear mongers. The Iranian government is just about dead and buried. Their oil output is meaningless beyond their own borders and their technology/military prowess is exaggerated to manipulate the sheep. They went all in with nothing in their hand and their bluff is getting called very publicly. One more wrong move will bring a rain of bombs on ALL of their sensitive/nuke sites and Hellfire on the rest of their leadership.
They already lost Syria and are in the process of losing Iraq and will soon be ousted from their own homeland. Iran is a weak nation with even weaker
leadership that is crumbling before our eyes.

This story is not unrelated to the recent assassination that we carried out.

What conditions need to exist to conclude our business in Iraq/Syria? Did Trump have Soleimani killed because he is a terrorist or because he is a general and the timing is right to bring things to a head? Did he do this because he's afraid of the fake impeachment or is the timing right to decisively deal with Iran? Does Trump have a plan or is he calling Obama, Bush and the Clinton's for their expert advice? Who got us into this mess in the middle east? Who is getting us out?

Hi Supermacd.  You have some excellent points.
As an aside. I hope you have some thoughts on my post above on cybersecurity stocks. 😎

Not precisely what you might be looking for but here is a long term swing that will pay plenty.
