Sam ,,, you said to compare to Weekly chart now >
http://schrts.co/cavPfryw INDU ~ support line under price from June 3 through August 12 extended & horizontal line on Sept.9 week price high ='s ascending triangle that price broke out up from on Oct.28 ... but price got above outside the upper 40ma BB band ='s overbought ...

line under price from 9-30 through Oct.21 extended ='s price broke sideways through support line on Nov.18 ... add line on Oct.14 price high through Nov.18 price high extended ... Pattern match today to July 22

> vertical line on July 22 and lines under price from June 3 price low through June 24 price low extended & a line on top off price from June 17 price high through July 15 price high extended ='s same lines we drew now ... after July 22 price declined to test the 10ma & then 40ma for support ...

the pattern match suggests that next week ,,, price may want to go down to do the same test for support ... < end paste

... so far pattern repeats ~ but this week is still very young yet this Monday morning 10:34am CT now ,,, anything can happen yet ... up or down this week ...

From the last Nasdaq board > http://schrts.co/SgNWfEbS < averages support lines are still support so far ... but the -D on the chart indicators did prove to be prophetic (tomorrow's newspaper today) of today's price action ...

Anyone see Feb 2018 again? VIX is crushing short vol positions, will get very ugly AH if markets stay here.

Weekly http://schrts.co/rVzcfhTx INDU ~ The EXCESSES that needed to correct Jan. 2018 were much bigger then ... BUT > Daily http://schrts.co/vBrSacIz INDU had the same -D chart indicator distribution before the top now that we saw back then in 2018 ... same before 9-13-2019 top also (trade-able repeating pattern ?) ... but curiously ,,, not seeing that -D on http://schrts.co/gWMVVrJJ SPX & http://schrts.co/NbXiXAJV COMPQ & http://schrts.co/GIgUteQN IWC this time <<< but they had -D Nov.4 through Nov.15 ='s was this Nov.27 high just a final blow off top then ? ... we'll find out between now and end of year I guess ...

@Littleshark If we get a VIXplosion tonight / tomorrow it will be a technical event (imo) similar to Feb 18, where all the short vol positions that have kicking off cash get stopped out in a rather violent fashion. In 18 VIX spiked to 50+ in the futures market. Bankrupted XIV. Would certainly drag markets down as well, but my big bet is on TVIX

TEAM short....

I was eyeing the chart on TEAM over the weekend and I was thinking to short it today....but I had work commitments this morning and could not act at the open...

Jeeez! ...it was down 9 bucks by late morning....oh well, I still think it has more downside....

I bought a Dec 27th $118 put for $479 and i hedged with a Dec 13th $120 call for $300......the goal is to see TEAM drop to at least $114 and preferably lower....I am targeting $112.....we shall see what happens. TEAM does not report earnings until early January, so trading should be driven by the algo's.

The GBTC chart looks quite ugly, but they don't sell options on that symbol, so a person would have to short the actual stock and that is not something I do.....but I do agree, it doesn't look well.

That same negative report meant nothing to traders last month...now suddenly it means something again?

.....I was shorting in front of that ISM report a month ago and the shorts got whipped....

I knew another negative ISM was probable because the Chicago PMi was bearish again last week....well, at leat I made some coin on the UVXY flip today.😏

Yes,  i scored big in Feb 2018 with UVXY options  .

Now, I am watching the Vixens and $COMPQ....the COMpQ is holding at the 13 EMA after a brief drop under that line this morning....if the 13 EMA gives way by today's close, then things could get really ugly, imho.

Traders should see that the 13 ema has provided firm supoort since the rally began in early October with at least 4 touchbacks to that line...and now it is holding there again...8567 is the point where the 13 ema lies...a break below that line will spell trouble.😉

Boys and Girls!!!

...look where THEY parked the Nasdaq Composite.....8,567.99...!

Right where I said the 13 EMA suport lies and I said that 3 hours before the close....

So conceivably, if da boyz would like, they could launch a rally tomorrow off that critical support line!   😉

U.S. may increase tariffs after WTO rejects EU claims over Airbus

 China’s “unreliable entity list”

Stocks dipped slightly on Monday when The Global Times said China will release an “unreliable entity list” soon, according to sources. China’s so-called list aimed at punishing businesses deemed harmful to Chinese interests, reportedly includes U.S. entities. Investors will be watching to see if “soon” means as early as Tuesday.

In October, two Chinese government sources said whether the list is released will depend trade progress between the U.S. and China. There is no clear indication of when the U.S. and China will be able to sign an agreement and last week saw fresh tension between the two countries after Trump signed legislation supporting protesters in Hong Kong.

Do The Democrats Have A Death Wish?

The early winter holidays are notorious for giving people the blues, but as the last Thanksgiving leftovers slide into the stockpot, the Democratic Party was put on suicide watch. Is the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein in charge? It’s a little late to call an exorcist.>

[bg120219dAPC20191201104509]

The gun pointed at the Democrats’ head now is a stubby little low-caliber weapon in the person of Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, who has only grazed the party’s skull in two previous misfirings. The third time, the old saying goes, may be the charm
