HAPPY LABOR DAY WEEKEND, FELLOW TRADERS...!  ÃƒÂ°Ã…¸ËœÅ½

We do have some significant headlines this weekend, but whether any of these will still be news to the markets on Tuesday is anybody's guess....If the world is still standing on Tuesday morning, then the markets can choose to ignore all the bad news of the weekend...that is the way that the markets often think....

AS WE ENTER THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, IT IS THE PRECIOUS METALS STOCKS THAT HAVE OUT-PERFORMED THE MARKET THIS SUMMER....

Unlike past precious metals spikes, this one may not be a "one and done"....? Because now, we are entering the much-feared phase known as "helicopter money" and everywhere I look, I hear of central banks and governments around the world that are prepared to print and spend as much money as possible in order to head off a recession....imho, this can only end in a bad way for most of the world's economies.

Precious metals represent a method of storing wealth while the world's leadership has gone "crazy" in de-valuing money....  Ã°Å¸ËœÂ³

So, why should we fear Helicopter Money? After all, who wouldn't want to wake up one morning and find extra cash in their bank account, courtesy of their government?

BARRON'S HAS A STORY IN THE NEW EDITION ABOUT mRNA Bio-Tech stocks.....😉

They say that MRNA and TBIO could possibly be big winners in the future...but if their still unproven technology should fail, either stock could fail miserably.

However, Barron's points to some clues that suggest either stock's mRNA technology could prove to be a success in their article entitled "The Next Frontier in Treating Disease."

From my reading, I think that MRNA is the more promising of the two with their multi- technology strategy....

Recently, MRNA broke out of a wedge pattern and is pushing steadily higher....some strong institutional ownership in this one too!

PS- To his credit, member UMUNVER mentioned that we should take a closer look at this stock about 4 days ago....and now Barron's has written up a mostly favorable story on it...relative to its IPO price, the stock is still a bargain!

It's going to be interesting starting Tuesday on forward for the next few weeks. Everyone is back to work and we get to see what the big money thinks about all the geopolitical risks. A rise wouldn't surprise me but a sell off needs to be respected IMO.

Blain: "We're Heading Towards A Tragedy That Will Widen The Divisions Between East And West"

In terms of global markets, I’ve come to the conclusion we’re currently passing through the end of one cycle – the Era of Globalisation. We’re likely to see more turmoil as the current economic and political foundations continue to crumble. The next cycle is going to be very different in terms of implications of trade, growth, utility, and the way in which society works – or doesn’t.  A new form of capitalism perhaps?  A new society?  I have some ideas – which make me some kind of Neo-Keynsian…  Happy to discuss anytime.

JPMorgan Says It’s Finally Time to Buy Stocks Despite Trade Woes

Technical indicators, monetary easing outweigh trade risk: JPM

Strategists’ bullish viewpoint stands in contrast to buy-side

JPMorgan says it's time to pick up risk assets after the August sell-off

After August’s sell-off, the strategists last week signaled that the time to buy stocks was approaching, and today finally acted on their impulse. JPMorgan joins others on the sell-side like Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which said on Friday it’s bullish on risk assets, including equities, for 2019.

(IF) we breakdown this week through the 2826 support level, (Bulkowski's) measure rule suggests a decline to 2726 level which corresponds with the June Low.  It feels like a lot of the fear and bearish momentum has burned off and I'm seeing a lot of predictions of new highs soon.  Entirely possible, however I'm sticking with my trade plan until such time as it is invalidated, which would be a close (or two) above the 2943 level.  Currently short SQQQ, SPXU (full positions) + 500 Shares of TVIX purchased on Friday morning at the open.

Update on the bigger picture.  Still targeting that 1826 lvl in the next 18 months, which as you can see here is the bottom of the long term up channel we have been from the 2008 lows. .

Sold TVIX $19.4 for a nice profit.
May flip long here if the market starts to rally, this may be a good spot to buy.  Lets see what happens.

EDIT: Yep, sold my short positions for good profit. Bought TQQQ * SPXL (400 shares each)
