Errrrr, this is why I hate trying to be bullish this market.  Bulls are without a doubt the most schizophrenic creatures on the face of the planet.  Can't decide if bad news is good or bad.  This improves the chances of a .50bp cut, whats the problem?

LABU re-confirms the breakdown out of the Descending Triangle on the daily chart.....

This could send the levered biotech ETF back to its December low of last year....under $24.

Of course, this ETF will still supply occasional pops to the upside for the adept intra-day traders.....but the slope is getting to be more slippery, imho.

Shark the short term US debt is actually a little bit expensive right now because it has a higher yield rate than the longer term stuff like the 10 year and 30 year treasuries....

But granted, they still need buyers to buy these debt instruments or our government would come to a stand still!

Other countries offer negative yields while the US still offers debt that pays out interest. If some day, no buyers were to show up, then the Fed would simply print money and buy those un-sold treasuries....

When that starts to happen, I would expect gold and silver will accelerate their gains as the Fed would be "monetizing the debt" which would create run-away inflation by sinking the US dollar.

I jumped the gun on a short of HYG about a week ago....this time, HYG is truly falling and starting to break support levels....

I bought 3 November $87 puts for about a $493 investment.....a $2 drop in value over the next 45 days could generate a double for me! 😉

I think it wants to settle back down around the $13 support area.....I am using the daily chart....I realize you see something different on the 60 mins chart.....but I think I am gonna wait.🙄

Well, that is what I get for trading against the plan.  Dropped the long positions for small loss.  Holding fewer short shares but maybe that is better.  Done for day.  Cheers all.
